In addition to their professional dedication, they have also dedicated considerable time and resources to HSUHK, for which we are most grateful.” President Ho also conveyed his hope for the continued guidance from supporters of the University and the new cohort of Honorary University Fellows, and expressed his trust that they will drive the University’s advancement in a dynamic academic environment that fosters impactful learning, innovation and collaboration.

Ms Tong Hing-min spoke on behalf of the five Honorary University Fellowship recipients. She emphasised the significance of nurturing talent within the realm of education, saying “The true spirit of any organisation resides in its individuals, and one of the key roles of human resources management is to appropriately allocate resources that nurture talent, unveil potential, invigorate passion, and foster career growth. HSUHK has afforded me invaluable opportunities to collaborate with distinguished individuals from diverse sectors and contribute to the University’s development. Throughout this journey, I have come to appreciate that education is not merely about the transmission of knowledge; it is also about the holistic development of individuals. As members of the University, we bear this responsibility.” Ms Tong also highlighted that they would harness their motivation as Honorary University Fellows to pursue new breakthroughs in their respective field and strive to create greater value for generations to come.
