Professor Choy received his BSc in Mathematical Science, MSc in Scientific Computing (Graduated with Distinction), and PhD in Mathematics, all from the Department of Mathematics at the Hong Kong Baptist University. Before joining HSUHK, he was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Biotechnology and Informatics, The Methodist Hospital Research Institute, Weill Medical College of Cornell University in USA, and a Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Hong Kong Baptist University.
