SCM, nowadays, is a dynamic, evolutionary concept that encompasses material and information flow through the boundaries of enterprise to entertain issues like globalization in sourcing, product design collaboration, inventory deployment, distribution system and logistics.
The organization of the course leads students to go through various lately emerging innovation and application of Information Technologies in Supply Chain, including e-Business model, Customer Relationship Management, System to support Collaborative Product Commerce, Supplier Relationship Management, Logistics Resources Management, among others. In the courses of elaboration, relevant theory, managerial issues, methods and techniques will be illustrated.
The goal of this module is designed to give students ideas about the use of information technology in supply chain of which they may be assigned to manage the adoption of e-Supply Chain Management strategy in the future.

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- describe the nature of current Supply Chain Management in e-Business environment;
- state the emerging innovation and information technologies to apply in Supply Chain Management;
- describe the relationship of strategies, methods and technologies to adopt e-Supply Chain Management paradigm;
- develop and implement integrated information system strategies in different functions; and
- evaluate, design, and manage the adoption of innovation and IS in supply chain.
