This module aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge in financial communication and investor relations. It covers the strategic management of information flow among an organisation and its stakeholders, investors and the market. The main objective of this module is to help students develop the necessary skills and knowledge to work in the financial PR industry or other related careers. The module also puts emphasis on the ethics and social responsibilities required in the profession.

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

1. understand the principles of financial communication and investor relations;


2. identify and explain the strategic management of information flow among organisations and their stakeholders, investors and the market;


3. illustrate and apply the current practice of financial communication and investor relations; and


4. act professionally and ethically with a strong sense of social responsibility.
