This module introduces the organizational structure and key stakeholders of insurance companies. It describes the roles of several functional units, including but not limited to product distribution, underwriting and claim administration.

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

1. identify the stakeholders and the organizational structure of the insurance company;


2. describe the roles and explain the responsibilities of functional units;


3. and explain how insurance companies are organized and operated.
