The Council Chairman Bowl (the Bowl) competition, sponsored by Council Chairman Dr Moses Cheng, was first instituted in academic year 2017/18. In 2018/19, the Bowl kicked off its first competition, the Inter-RCs Tug of War, on 3 Nov 2018. Each Residential College (RC) formed a team of eight with at least two female members in each team to join the competition. The RC Masters, Associate Masters, Resident Tutors and student residents were excited to cheer for the teams. After rounds of exciting races, Mosaic College became the champion of the competition.

Inter-RCs Badminton Competition, the second competition of the Bowl, was held on 10 Nov 2018. To encourage participation by the residents, the competition was held in different team categories: male-double, female-double and mixed-double. After rounds of competition, the championship went to Wellness College while the Mosaic College and the Evergreen College were first runners-up. Amity College was the third runner-up.

More exciting competitions will be organised in the second semester including the Inter-RCs Dodgeball Competition in Feb 2019, the Inter-RCs Kin-ball Competition in Mar 2019 and the Inter-RC Basketball Competition in Apr 2019.
