TEDxHSUHK 2024: Unmoor

Organised by the Centre for Teaching and Learning and the Common Core Curriculum Office, the sixth TEDxHSUHK, themed “Unmoor”, was held on 7 June 2024.

This year’s event featured eight speaking units who shared their transformative stories of letting go and embracing new paths. The speakers were Innocent Mutanga, Founder of Africa Centre Hong Kong; Oshima Den, Coach of the Hong Kong Women’s Softball Team; Christy Yiu, Athlete and Running Coach; Nick Cheuk, Director and Scriptwriter; Orange Tam, the first Professional Organiser in Hong Kong; Kevin Tong, Writer and Counselor; Lai Chi-wai, Former Hong Kong Climbing Team Delegate and Wheelchair Climbing Coach, and Kong Wan-ki, Tutor and Co-founder of the Hong Kong Sign Language Association. Their stories of personal growth and overcoming challenges inspired over 100 live audience members and over 1,000 online viewers from the HSUHK community.
