6 February 2025

Two BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management Year 4 students, Ko Tsun-ming and Tung Mei-ching, received the 2024 Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Best Student Award and Certificate of Merit respectively.

This year, 15 students from various universities and community colleges in Hong Kong took part in the competition. In an essay about “AI Application in Procurement and Supply Chain”, the two HSUHK students discussed how to apply artificial intelligence to optimise businesses’ procurement and supply chain procedures to improve efficiency. After a rigorous selection process and panel interviews on various aspects of the procurement and supply chain profession, the students were awarded for their impressive analysis and performance.
