27 October 2023
To further strengthen our academic staff members’ understanding of students with diverse needs, a sharing session on understanding the profiles of new students was co-organised by SAO and CTL on 27 October 2023. The session featured presentations by our counselor and a representative from SAO to give an overview of the demographic profile of new students at HSUHK, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to more than 30 academic and administrative staff members. Additionally, findings on students’ mental health status were shared during the session to better assist planning student development resources for growth and learning.
