Executive Development Centre (EDC) of Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) together with International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) Hong Kong and Macau Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding on organizing the “Certificate in Financial Consulting (Executive Program)” in HSMC Campus.

The Executive Program is designed for financial services practitioners who aim to obtain the globally recognized professional designation, “Registered Financial Consultant” (RFC) conferred by IARFC. Students, who pass the Executive Program, will at the same time, receive also a “Certificate in Financial Consulting” issued by HSMC-EDC.  The designation “RFC” sets IARFC members above their peers as qualified and trained professionals who have met the level of competency required by IARFC.

The Executive Program is delivered by heavyweight trainers, and includes four different subjects:  “Finance and Investment” by Dr Victor Ng, Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Economics and Finance and former Senior Vice President and Division Head of Banking Administration of China Construction Bank; “Economics” by Dr James Cheong, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and Finance, HSMC and former consultant of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Australia; “Law and Tax” by Mr Antony Sin, Barrister-at-Law; and “Practical Aspects of Financial Consulting and Case Studies” by Dr Teresa So, Chairman, International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Hong Kong and Macau.
