Classroom A215, located in the S H Ho Academic Building at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), has been named “Marc Ng Classroom” in recognition of the genuine support received from Mr Marc Ng.
Held on 19 July, the Naming Ceremony was officiated by Mr and Mrs Ng and their sons; together with Professor Simon S M Ho, President of HSUHK; and Professor Y V Hui, Vice-President (Academic and Research).
In his welcome remarks, President Ho conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to Mr Ng for his kind contribution to the University’s long-term development. With the continued endorsement of donors and friends of HSUHK, he believed that the Five-year Strategic Plan 2018–2023 would undoubtedly gain momentum in the University’s drive towards attaining new heights.
Mr Marc Ng said during his remarks that he was impressed by and appreciative of the great leap the University had made in the past few years. He shared the same core values with HSUHK — professionalism, innovation, and integrity. He looked forward to further collaboration and mutual exchange in nurturing more talented young people for the community in the years to come.
Centrally located in close proximity to other facilities, the Marc Ng Classroom serves as an ideal venue for studying and group discussion.
