The Inauguration Ceremony of the 5th Executive Committee of the HSUHK Wofoo Leaders’ Network was held on 27 January 2022 in online format. The theme of the Inauguration Ceremony this year is ‘Persistence 恒心’ . The event was graced by Supervisor of Wofoo Leaders’ Network Steering Committee Mr Leo Chan, representatives of Wofoo Leaders’ Network Secretariat, Advisors, Director of Student Affairs of HSUHK Ms Esther Lee, representatives of Chapters, former executive committee members, staff and guests. Together, they attended the ceremony and witnessed this significant moment.

Before the Inauguration, Mr Leo Chan and Ms Esther Lee gave their encouragement to students in their speeches. Mr Leo Chan recognised the efforts of HSUHK Wofoo Leaders’ Network (HSUHKWLN) and encouraged the new cabinet to follow the good practice of past cabinets. “Mr Ricky Yan, representative of HSUHKWLN, was the President of the Integrated Wofoo Leaders’ Network last year. It was a pleasure for me to work with him and tackle challenges together. WLN is  a microcosms of society, and  I hope that students can develop themselves and explore different remarkable experiences through this platform. I am glad to be able to witness your growth.” Ms Esther Lee appreciated the creativity and flexibility of the cabinets of the past two years in accomplishing the WLN’s mission under the pandemic. She encouraged the new cabinet, “Embrace the difficulties ahead with positivity, in echo to the theme of this year, “Persistence”. These valuable experiences will nurture you with the strength to contribute to society in future.“
