HSUHK signs MoU with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Society

HSUHK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Society to promote the “Hong Kong-Greater Bay Area Dual-Place Internship Programme” initiated by HSUHK. Both parties will also collaborate on projects such as summer internships and career exploration tours, providing HSUHK students with a multifaceted understanding of the development and opportunities in the GBA, thereby fostering their growth into future talent for in the region.

Mr Eddie Fong, Honorary Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Society stated that this collaboration further strengthens the promotion of understanding among Hong Kong youth about the latest developments in the GBA, and the collaborative projects will enable HSUHK students to gain insights into how the GBA cities achieve mutually beneficial complementarities, creating unique advantages for their future career development.

Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience) of HSUHK, expressed gratitude to the Society for their support, and believes that the projects will provide HSUHK students with comprehensive learning experiences in the GBA.

After the signing ceremony, the representative from the Shenzhen North Station Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre shared policy support and other information related to entrepreneurship in Shenzhen with students. The representatives from the Great Ideal New Media Group Limited also introduced the popular live streaming sales industry and conducted a live streaming demonstration, giving students a taste of the learning activities they will experience through the projects.
