Professor Joshua Mok promotes medical-industry-societal collaboration at Guangdong conference

Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) Designate, was invited by the Guangdong Health and Rehabilitation Association to join the Greater Bay Area Health and Rehabilitation Collaboration Preparation Committee to further co-promote medical-industry-societal collaboration in enhancing the health and wellbeing of citizens across borders.

During the conference, Professor Mok shared his recent research on how medical-industrial-societal sectors can work closely together to promote gerontechnology and productive ageing in Hong Kong. He also discussed how productive ageing could be achieved through the promotion of inter-generational communication of health and well-being knowledge and practices with appropriate adoption of technology for enhancing healthy ageing.
