Two BBA (Hons) in Marketing graduates of HSUHK, Petal Choi and Sherry Siu, took part in the Youth Elite Aspiration Programme (YEAP) organised by the Hong Kong Professional and Senior Executive Association (HKPASEA). Both graduates were leaders of a team that won the first prize in the YEAP One-Belt-One-Road Competition against seven other groups.
The 5th Youth Dream Realization Project began earlier this year with the participation of 64 people between the ages of 19 to 30, including tertiary institution students and employed professionals. After participating in all activities, the eight groups of students were tasked with devising feasible proposals on how Hong Kong can play a role in the “eight major centres” along the Belt and Road countries under the framework of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan. Dr Patrick Poon, former President of HKAPSEA and member of HSUHK Board of Governors, was pleased to see HSUHK students and graduates excelling in the YEAP competition.
