HSUHK held its dual-mode Information Day on 21 November 2020 (Saturday) to provide the latest information about admissions, Principal Recommended Admission Scheme, programme development, scholarship opportunities and student life enrichment to visitors. They could choose to visit HSUHK campus or stay online for talks and seminars. Live chat was also available for answering enquiries.
President Simon S M Ho extended his warm welcome to visitors with a speech to kick off the magnificent whole-day event. Followed by the feature talk ‘Selection Strategies of Undergraduate Programmes’ presented by the Honourable Guest Mr Po- shing Ng, Student Guidance Consultant of Hok Yau Club, visitors were given some inspiring insights on university education in Hong Kong and selection strategies of undergraduate programmes. For a better interaction with visitors, the Programme Exhibition was held to showcase all the HSUHK programmes. The event was enriched with numbers of programme seminars, workshops and taster activities. Accompanied with a series of admissions talks conducted by Registry, different types of audience, including HKDSE students, senior year applicants and secondary school teachers, grasped the latest information about admissions requirements for the 2021 entry. Students could complete the on-site application and assessment if interested.
Campus tours were tailored to showcase the University’s professional and state-of-the-art teaching facilities and its outstanding learning environment. Visitors also had a glimpse of student life in activities organised at the Student Affairs Corner.
