On 28 May 2021, Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE) successfully hosted the HSUHK Entrepreneurship Day 2021 (E-day). This is the flagship entrepreneurship event on campus during which the HSUHK’s aspiring entrepreneurs, alumni, investors, faculty members and other supporters meet to witness our students’ milestones of their entrepreneurial journey.
Mr Duncan Chiu, Convenor of Innovate for Future (IF), President of the Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council (ITJC) and Co-Founder & Managing Director of Radiant Venture Capital Limited, was the keynote speaker this year. He gave a speech on the topic “The Road of Innovation after COVID-19 – Perspective from an Investor”, inspiring the participants on entrepreneurial opportunities ahead. There were also a showcase of our students’ entrepreneurial ideas as well as presentations of the five finalist teams of the HSUHK x SCMP Entrepreneurship Challenge 2021, a joint event organised by WUCIE, Department of Marketing, and South China Morning Post. The winning teams of the HSUHK x SCMP Entrepreneurship Challenge 2021 are as follows:
