Creative Humanities Hub wins Universal Design Gold Award

1 November 2024

HSUHK’S Creative Humanities Hub won the Gold Award under the “Universal Design Award Scheme 2024-25 (UDAS)” by the Equal Opportunities Commission. The award was presented to HSUHK on 1 November 2024.

This award programme promotes the values of equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion to create an equal opportunities environment covering all people. Under UDAS, there are many Universal Design provisions for assessment, such as access, door, services, furniture and fixture, business-specific components, signage and wayfinding, toilet, lift, ambience, and parking. The Creative Humanities Hub is equipped with over 60 such facilities that fulfil the programme’s requirements to be recognised with the UDAS Gold Award recognition.
