The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has announced that the Board of Governors and the Council have approved the appointment of Professor Jeanne Fu Ho-ying(符可瑩)of the Department of Management as the Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), with effect from 1 February 2024.
As the Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), Professor Jeanne Fu will lead HSUHK’s student learning, development and growth, including the enhancement of teaching and learning quality, the Common Core Curriculum, student support services and development programmes, strategic partnerships with established institutions in the Greater China region and overseas, thus providing students with a comprehensive and transformative learning experience.
Professor Fu’s academic and administrative accomplishments have been widely recognised. Since joining HSUHK in 2017, she has taken up various important administrative roles, including Head of the Department of Management, Head of the Honours Academy, and Programme Director of BBA-Global Business Management. Professor Fu has been the Acting Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience) since February 2023.
Professor Fu obtained her PhD in Psychology at The University of Hong Kong. She then took up a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University in the United States. She later taught at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and City University of Hong Kong. Her research and teaching interests focus on cross-cultural conflict management, team dynamics, leadership, expatriation, and innovation management.

I have full confidence that Professor Fu will continue to uphold the University’s unique ‘Liberal + Professional’ education model ethos, and to provide an extraordinary learning experience for our students.”
