The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) jointly organised the second seminar in the series of the HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards Sharing Seminar 2016/17 on 9 February 2017.
The second seminar was delivered by Dr Michael Chan, Assistant Professor of Department of Social Science and Dr Daniel Mo, Assistant Professor of Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, the two HSMC Teaching Excellence Award recipients, with the titles “To Teach or not to Teach: The case of GEN1000 module” and “Interactive Teaching for Integrative Learning”. In the seminar, Dr Chan shared with audience the valuable experience learnt from the design and implementation of GEN1000 module, and Dr Mo shared his notions and practices to stimulate integrative learning through interactive teaching approach.
The sharing session was well attended with about 30 HSMC staff members from different Departments and Schools. Positive feedback was received from participants who found the seminar contents informative and useful.

Dr Michael Chan and Dr Daniel Mo shared their valuable teaching experience and practices with the participants
