World Premiere of “7%” and Pre-screening Workshop (A documentary film by Director Zhou Hao) [4:15 pm – 6:15 pm]
Golden Horse Award-winning Director Zhou Hao proposes in the film to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on humanities. It follows the victorious journey of online AI programme “Fine Art” defeating top-ranked Go players in Computer Go UEC Cup 2017 held in Japan. What is the implication of the victory of “Fine Art” over humanity? It is said that human intelligence masters only 7% of the art of Go and our understanding of the world. To what extent is this true?
