22 June 2024
In collaboration with The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong’s Community Creativity Learning Centre, HSUHK’s Honours Academy (HA), hosted the community service event “Life Financial Explorers – Pre-Teens Financial Literacy Workshop 2024” on 22 June 2024. Fifteen primary and secondary school students, as well as children of HSUHK’s colleagues participated in the workshop.
This year’s event imparted essential financial literacy skills to students. HA students channelled their creativity and expertise into designing booths and board games with captivating props, visuals, and informative cards. All activities were created to bring different stages of financial decision-making to life. The event seamlessly combined social simulation games, interactive board games, and mini-lectures to provide a foundational understanding of financial knowledge and responsibilities, equipping the younger generation with tools they will make use of in the future.
