A team of BJC students, namely Ng Kwan Yin Queenie, Wu Tsz Ching, Pun Cho Yin Darling, Liu Choi Wan and Lam Cheuk Leung, won the Bronze Award in the “Campus Category” of the 21st Consumer Rights Reporting Awards. The theme of their winning entry was “Rebates from Supermarkets?”.
The Awards, jointly organised by the Consumer Council, Hong Kong Journalists Association and Hong Kong Press Photographers Association since 2001, aims to celebrate and promote journalistic excellence in consumer rights issues and concerns. A total of 203 entries were received from 26 media organisations and higher education institutions this year. Congratulations to the students for standing out amongst the many competitors!
