Module Description
The need for businesses is to understand concepts, theories and applications of TQM and ISO into different business processes. Understanding TQM and ISO can help management improve business processes and building competitive advantage for business sustainability.
This module will guide students to understand, criticize and apply concepts, theories and best practice on TQM and ISO into different business nature and business processes. This can equip students with a mindset of quality and continual improvement in their career and future studies to meet challenges in regional and global business environment.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- identify and explain key concepts and uses of TQM and ISO in process and system management;
- illustrate the strategic use of TQM and ISO in process and system improvements;
- develop techniques of using TQM / quality-related management models and ISO audit into process and system monitoring and improvement; and
- identify and assess barriers of TQM/ ISO application in industries; and generate possible solutions for increasing competitive advantage for sustainability.
