This module aims to develop students’ ability to define, formulate, analyze and solve business problem through basic analytical skills and tools. The focus of this module is placed on analytical methods and computer tools which are necessary for conducting business analytics projects and solving real business problem.

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

1. apply business analytics idea, methods and tools;


2. analyze business problems using relevant analytical methods and tools;


3. use computer to implement the methods / models and develop solutions;


4. interpret the solutions and identify managerial insights based on the analysis; and


5. communicate and present the findings effectively
