Module Description
This module provides an overview of service operations including service environment, the strategy and system design of service operations, and detailed operations in managing services.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- state and describe the nature of service operations and its components;
- illustrate and analyze the service operations flow and identify the bottlenecks;
- describe, apply and examine the various pervasive service strategies and processes, and the criteria for selection and key success factors; and
- generate and assess the design of the elemental components of a service operation.
