Module Description
This module is designed for students who have successfully completed German I. Students explore the features of the German language with focus on business conversations. They have the opportunity to enlarge their actively used vocabulary and employ moderately complex sentence patterns. Students receive intensive practice in spoken and written German through interactive class work and homework.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- express themselves in some more advanced situations in work and daily life using German language;
- be aware of intercultural variations in behavior;
- relate to the work culture and work ethics in German speaking countries; and
- use analytical tools adequate for learning a new foreign language.
