Module Description
This module introduces the principles of motion graphics used to create dynamic visual effects. Students will become familiar with the processes of creating effective titles and sequences for broadcast graphics, film, or commercials. Industrial standard software such as After Effects will be used to get students acquainted with the methodology of designing and developing motion graphics.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- explain the terminology and concepts in motion graphics;
- identify the methodology of designing and developing motion graphics;
- use industry standard software, hardware, and accompanying techniques for motion design; and
- create titles and sequences for broadcast graphic, film, or commercials.
