Module Description
The module examines the relationship between technology, the individual and society. It focuses on the causes and consequences of technological change in order to achieve a more balanced view of the power of technology and its impacts on our lives in different settings.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- identify and evaluate the relationship between technology, society and the individual;
- analyse the impact of rapid technological development on daily life;
- formulate ideas on how we can use technology properly to upgrade our quality of life; and
- achieve a balanced view on the analysis of the development of technology in the 21st century.
