Module Description
This module is designed to acquaint students with the techniques of TV production. The first part is to introduce the basic concepts of modern TV system, production procedures and programme script format and proposals. The second part is to guide students through the application of TV programming format in practical and creative TV programme production both in EFP/ENG and studio mode. It is a practical and creative module in which students can learn the team-spirit and work attitude of professional and industrial scenarios.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- understand the concepts of TV system, production procedures and acquire the associated skills;
- write TV program script format and proposals;
- apply theories to make mini-scale TV programmes in both EFP/ENG and studio mode and explore TV programme production in a creative manner through practicum; and
- understand the media convergence of web TV and mobile TV
