Module Description
This module aims to deliver advanced knowledge in various actuarial models and concepts for life insurance and annuity to students. Topics covered include determination of benefit reserves for life insurance and annuity, analysis of insurance loss random variables, theory of life contingences for multiple lives, and the multiple decrement models.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- analyse reserves for life insurances;
- analyse reserves for annuities;
- apply the theory of life contingencies for multiple lives;
- apply multiple decrement theory to insurance and pension.
