Module Description
The course introduces students on fundamental concepts of developing programs and problem-solving skills. Via the discussions on the program design concepts, data types and operators, design and program control, implementation and testing, a comprehensive overview of software modeling and software processes are presented. This course builds solid programming foundations and prepares students for advanced modules in Management Science and Information Management.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- Explain the basic structure and syntax of computer programming apply reading skills in academic and non-academic purposes;
- Apply programming techniques appropriately and accurately to meet various requirements
- Translate algorithms into programming models
