The Appreciation and Naming Reception of HSUHK — Foundation Gallery

To celebrate the establishment of “The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong — Foundation Gallery”, HSUHK held an appreciation and naming reception on 8 August 2024. Dr Patrick Poon, Governor and Chairman of the Foundation Management Committee, and President Simon Ho officiated at the event. HSUHK — Foundation Members were invited to join the reception.

Dr Poon stated that since its establishment nine years ago, the HSUHK — Foundation has been receiving strong support from various sectors and has seen continuous growth in membership. He expressed his sincere gratitude to each Foundation Member, emphasising that all Members are pillars of support for the University’s development.

President Ho thanked all HSUHK — Foundation Members for their longstanding support and acknowledged that their generous contributions have helped enhance campus facilities, teaching equipment, and student services. President Ho also highlighted that the construction of the Creative Humanities Hub was a collective achievement of all supporters, and extended his appreciation to a number of HSUHK — Foundation Members, including Dr Yip Kit-chuen, The S H Ho Foundation, Dr Patrick Poon, Mrs Patricia Wong, CMG International Charitable Fund, Bright Future Charitable Foundation, Ir Professor Tsui Tack-kong, Mr Eugene Liu, Mr Lo Foo-cheung, Dr Dennis Ng and Leung Chun Woon Kee (Service Consultant), for supporting the “HSUHK — Foundation Gallery Naming Initiative”.

Located at the first floor of the Creative Humanities Hub, The HSUHK — Foundation Gallery will host various exhibitions in the future, providing a platform for students and artists to showcase their works, thereby promoting cultural and artistic development within the University and the community.
