On 10 Aug 2018, HSMC and the Chinese Academy of Governance (Hong Kong) Industrial and Commercial Professionals Alumni Associations Ltd (CAGAHK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaborations between the two institutions to nurture the new generation of innovation and entrepreneurial leaders in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.
President Simon S M Ho; Provost Gilbert Fong; Professor Y V Hui, Vice-President (Academic and Research); Mr Dannie Cheung, College Council Member and member of CAGAHK; Dr Thomas Man, Director of Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE); and Ms Joanna Kwok, Director of Executive Development Centre, met with the CAGAHK delegation including Mr Clement Chen, Chairman; Mr Andrew Fan, Honourable Vice-Chairman; Mr Rex Wong, Vice-Secretary; and Mr Ken Chung, member. By capitalising on the platform provided by WUCIE, various innovation and entrepreneurship related joint activities can be organised for the young people in the region and beyond, fostering exchanges and collaborations.
