240 HSMC Students Received HK$4.6 Million Government Scholarships
The 2015 Joint Scholarship Presentation Ceremony for HKSAR GovernmentScholarship Fund and Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund was held on 15April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) to give publicrecognition to the awardees’ remarkable achievements. This year, a total of 240HSMC students were awarded in the Self-financing Post-secondaryScholarship Scheme, namely Outstanding Performance Scholarship, Best ProgressAward, Talent Development Scholarship, Reaching Out Award and EndeavourScholarship, with scholarship / award amount ranging from HK$10,000to HK$80,000, totaling to HK$4.6 million. Student representativesattended the ceremony to receive the honour from Mr Eddie Ng Hak-kim, SBS, JP,Secretary for Education, on behalf of all the awardees, in the presence of DrTom Fong, Associate Vice-President (Student Development and Campus Services).
