MrTam shared the projects of UABB (Urbanism Architecture Bi-city Biennale 2013) “Crossing Border│BorderCrossing (越界│過渡)”with the teaching faculties. The projectssuccessfully reshaped and reintegrated the physical-spiritual identity ofShenzhen regarding the day-and-night activities of the moving populations interms of its productive, entertaining and cultural practice which characterisesand differentiates those of other Chinese and world cities. The fact that the24-hour, non-stop happenings in the UABB 2013 truly symbolised and signifiedthe dynamic and energetic ambiance of Shenzhen was illustrated. A unique, vividand vital phenomenon of the World City’s character and developmental model thatvisual and cultural activities interactively and endlessly contribute to totalgrowth was also exemplified.
