A Supply Chain Decarbonisation Workshop II on carbon reporting and verification was carried out in Hang Seng Management College on 24 January 2015 (Saturday). It was a half-day workshop organised by the Department of Supply Chain Management from a funding research project supported by the Research Grant Council fund. The project aims to develop a carbon footprint tool kit, including carbon reporting, verification, calculation, and optimisation, for the supply chain and logistics industry in Hong Kong. The guest speaker, Mr Harold Hai, from TÜV Rheinland Hong Kong Limited, was invited to the workshop. The participants included members of the project teams from the final year students of Hang Seng Management College, representatives of the pilot companies, and members from Association of Hong Kong Air Freight Forwarding Agents (HAFFA).
