Visualising the Mission of HSMC via Responsible Management Education (PRME, UN Global compact)
Riding on the achievement of obtaining a full score of “5” from HKQAA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Index in November, 2014, Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) has become a Signatory Institution of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, PRME with commitment to implement the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) in its operation, for example, management and staff level, programme and module level, student and community level for sustainability. This is the first private higher educational institution in Hong Kong under the signatory institution list of PRME, the first organised relationship between the United Nations and management-related academic institutions, business schools, and universities.
The success of visualising the mission of HSMC and implementing the Principles of Responsible Management (PRME) well rely on the on-going communication and collaboration of internal and external stakeholders. HSMC looks forward to being able to add value to students and to transform itself into a private university.
