Get, Set, Go! Get prepared for the CRE Exam
Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) is an assessment test by the Civil Service Bureau to evaluate candidates’ language and reasoning ability for most of the civil service job vacancies. It consists of three papers: (1) Use of Chinese; (2) Use of English; and (3) Aptitude Test.
To better prepare our students who wish to join the civil service force to sit for the CRE exam, Careers Office of Student Affairs Office (SAO) organized three workshops in May. During the workshops, experienced trainers went through the exam format, previous exam questions and approaches to attempt the questions in the CRE examination. Participated by more than 130 students, many of them found the workshops very helpful and practical.
Apart from soliciting different job opportunities for HSMC students and graduates, the Careers Office also caters for students with job application skills and workplace manner through well-designed training programmes. We look forward to having more students tapping into the careers services we provide.
