A signing ceremony of memorandum of understanding of Collaborative Agreement between Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) and Kingdee International Software Group (H.K.) Limited (Kingdee) was held on 12 January 2012 at the New Building of HSMC.

Kingdee will donate the licenses of its two products, Kingdee K/3 and Kingdee KIS, to support learning of accounting and usage of ERP software for accounting and supply chain management students. Notably, HSMC is the first higher education institution in Hong Kong to receive the license sponsors from Kingdee.

Dr Chui Hong Sheung, the President of HSMC attended the ceremony with Prof Gilbert Fong, Provost of HSMC and other vice presidents. Dr Chui signed the memorandum with Ms Karen Ji, Assistant President, General Manager of International Business Service Business Unit and General Manager of Hong Kong, Kingdee International Software Group Company Limited. Dr Chui, on behalf of HSMC, received the license of two products worth HKD 1,740,000 from Ms Ji.

Ms Ji says she is impressed with HSMC and glad to form a partnership with the college, “HSMC is a new college in Hong Kong, but its predecessor, Hang Seng School of Commerce has already trained many professionals for the business field over the past three decades. It is our honour to show our support to HSMC on its road to become an outstanding private university in Hong Kong.”

She stressed that besides the enterprise responsibilities, Kingdee also bears social responsibilities and hopes to give support for educating and training business professionals in Hong Kong.

Ms Ji also looks forward to more cooperation opportunities with HSMC in near future. “And we would like to invite HSMC’s teachers and students to visit our branches in the mainland to have a better understanding of the industry,” says Ms Ji.
