Scholarship and Academic Award Presentation Ceremony

More than 270 scholarships and academic awards were presented to outstanding students for their remarkable performance over the academic year 2011-2012 at the Scholarship and Academic Award Presentation Ceremony on 10 April 2013.

A total of 121 Associate Degree and Degree Programme students  obtained 141 scholarships in an amount of HK$1.2 million.  At the Ceremony, honourable donors and HSMC senior academic staff presented the following 14 external and internal scholarships:

• The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong – CTA Scholarship

HSMC would like to express our most heartfelt gratitude to all donors, including individuals and organizations, for their generous donations made in essential support to our students development.

In addition to the scholarships, 130 academic awards of Dean’s List and Best Progress were presented to Degree Programme students from the School of Business, School of Communication and School of Translation. These hardworking awardees were selected by their respective Schools upon satisfactorily attaining certain academic criteria established by their Schools.

The Ceremony was a significant and joyful occasion for donors to witness the extraordinary potentials of HSMC students, for parents and friends to share happiness with the awardees, and most importantly, for our outstanding students to receive recognition on the stage for their earnest learning attitude.
