BJC Talk Series 9: A Sharing of Professional Ethical Standards Among Newspaper Industry
Prof. Joseph Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Press Council and Professor of Journalism and Communication of Chinese University of Hong Kong, was invited to be the guest speaker at the 9th BJC Talk. Prof. Chan talked about his job in Hong Kong Press Council and shared some of the cases and public complaints handled by his team to the audiences.
During his speech, Prof. Chan pointed out the importance of professional ethical standards among newspaper industry and discussed the idea of a self-regulatory body on media intrusion of privacy with our students.
