A delegation of around 100 members of The Association of Hong Kong Chinese Middle School visited Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) on 25 November 2016. The management together with Deans, key academic and administrative staff introduced programmes and the latest development of HSMC to those principles and teachers of secondary schools.
President Simon S M Ho gave a talk on “Development of Higher Education in Hong Kong” to the guests. He stressed that education provides students opportunities not only to acquire degree and prepare for their first vocation, but also to develop values and the goal of life. Establishing all-round personalities, being enthusiastic and independent in learning, students could surely face challenges with confidence in the future.
Dr Eugenia Ng, College Registar of HSMC, introduced the Schools and programmes o the guests. Ms Maggie Ng of Registry also presented the admission requirements, application procedures and scholarships details. Colleagues of the Communications and Public Affairs Office arranged campus tour for the guests after the meeting, visiting the Residential Colleges and other campus facilities. Guests were also greeted warmly by the student ambassadors to know more about the campus life.
The visit provided perfect opportunity for the guests to have better understanding of the development of Higher Education in Hong Kong, helping them to assist the HKDSE students in making wise choice for their further studies.
