About the speaker:
Until his retirement in early 2016, Professor Po-Keung Ip, PhD, Distinguished Professor (特聘教授) of the Graduate Institute of Philosophy, National Central University, Taiwan and the Institute’s Director of the Centerfor Applied Ethics (2000-2014), received his BA and MPhil, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (香港中文大學), in Philosophy and Sociology, and PhD (Philosophy) from University of Western Ontario, Canada. A Commonwealth Scholar, his research includes business ethics, applied ethics, organisation alethics, leadership, and well-being studies. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Ethics, Asian Journal of Business Ethics, Applied Research in Quality of Life and a member of the International Well being Group. He is the section editor of the Handbook of the Philosophical Foundations of Business Ethics (Springer,2013).
