The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) hosted the annual Student Day with a mission to raise young people’s concerns on the current issues of logistics and transport in Hong Kong, and to encourage them to develop their future career in related industries. This year, the CILTHK in collaboration with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) held the Student Day on 19 March 2016 at the campus of HKUST. Nine participating teams from various universities and community colleges in Hong Kong and Macau were given real case studies in transport and logistics in the competition and students had to decide how to formulate solutions to a topical problem under time constraint.
A five-member team of HSMC’s BBA-SCM programme, including GiGi Chui, Jessica Chan, John Ng, Jimmy Lau and Oscar Shek, under the leadership and supervision of SCM professors performed an excellent presentation with impressive analysis on the topic “Do you see a bright future in the air cargo industry? What are the challenges and opportunities ahead?” and won the First Runner-up. Let’s join hands to congratulate them.
HSMC Team members showed their excellent presentation skills and team spirit in analysing the assigned topic
