The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) and Relife Group Limited (Relife Group Ltd) have co-organised the “HSUHK+Relife Fight Through Adversity” Marketing Competition with the aim of encouraging students to unleash their innovative spirit to promote products to a wide range of fields and gain marketing experience.
Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development) of HSUHK and Convener of the Collaborative Working Group of the partnership programme, hopes students understand the relationship between humans and nature, and the importance of sustainability by promoting the eco-friendly products. Mr Simon Ngan, Co Chairman and Founder of Relife Group Ltd, expects HSUHK’s students to develop marketing strategies and gain practical marketing experience by utilising the latest anti-epidemic products, technologies and resources. Using the new technology products of Relife Group Ltd as the sample case, the competition invites students to propose a marketing plan for the products, through which students will learn how to tackle challenges in the market.
“Relife Group Marketing Competition Awards” has been set up to reward the winners in the competition in order to encourage students putting their knowledge into practice. Participants are required to submit a creative business initiative and a marketing plan including product design, brand name, services and advertisements. The Awards consist of the First, Second, Third and 2 Merit awards with cash values of HK$32,000/HK$20,000/HK$15,000/HK$8,000 respectively. Awardees will be selected based on different criteria including innovative, planning and execution ability. The awarded proposal from the First and Second Awards will be carried out in practice under the guidance of the Relife Group.
Set up “Relife Group Scholarship” and launch Relife Group Mentorship Programme
The “Relife Group Scholarship” has been established to encourage HSUHK’s students to pursue further study. HSUHK and Relife Group Ltd will also launch a five month long “Relife Group Mentorship Programme” which will provide internship opportunities for students.
Relife Group Ltd generously donated an “Relife UNI-FLOW Super Alkaline Ion Water Machine” and bottles of “Relife Super Alkaline Ionized Water” to HSUHK in March 2020. The pH value of the “Super Alkaline Ionized Water” reaches 12.5 and the sanitising rate reached 99.999% which satisfies the demand of being environment- friendly. Besides safeguarding the health of students and staff, the technological products also help HSUHK extend the sustainability and eco-friendly concepts.
