150 HSUHK runners join forces for the Hong Kong Marathon 2025

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) established the HSUHK Team this year, an initiative to inspire the University community to embrace physical activities and prioritise their health. Today (9 February), nearly 150 runners, including staff, students, and alumni, participated in the Hong Kong Marathon 2025, setting a record for participation numbers and showcasing the University’s spirit of unity and determination.

HSUHK’s senior management team, including Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK; Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research); Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience); Dr Josiah Chan, Vice-President (Organisational and Development); Dr John Leung, Associate Vice-President (Knowledge Exchange); and Ms Antonia Yeung, Associate Vice-President (Development and Campus Services) were present to support HSUHK Team members, underscoring the University’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive community. Additionally, a spirited cheering team comprised of HSUHK students rallied along the course, further encouraging camaraderie within the HSUHK community. The University also arranged massage services for runners at the HSUHK booth at Causeway Bay Sports Ground.
